New JPGS Study Scholarships Available for Golden Jubilee Year
In celebration of JPGS forthcoming Golden Jubilee year (50 years since its establishment) we would like to announce an initiative to introduce a series of academic scholarships in recognition of the efforts of our outstanding IGCSE and AS Level students and to encourage more of the best students from all over Jeddah to enter the Sixth Form.
We are seeking to further expand our provision for students at Sixth Form and to do that we are well aware of the need to invest in both infrastructure, staff and students. As a sign of our commitment to do this we are offering automatic scholarships to students who exceed our already high expectations at the end of Year 11. The scholarships will be available to internal and external applicants to Year buy zolpidem 12 and those progressing into Year 13. Awards will be decided on publication of public examination results (shortly after August 10th). The scholarships will range from 10%-25% discounts on fees based on achievement. The detailed criteria for receiving specific awards can be found HERE and will be available on the school website (www.jpgs.org).
An additional scholarship of 50% discount on school fees will be made available to the top two applicants to Y12 from within the school. This scholarship will only be available to internal applicants and will be assessed on the basis of both academic success and overall contribution to the school. Candidates who wish to apply for these scholarships should submit a written application to the Head Teacher at the beginning of the first term of the new academic year before undergoing a formal interview process.
By introducing these scholarships in time for our anniversary it is hoped that we are reaffirming our key commitment to academic excellence, the recognition of student achievement and spirit of community service upon which we were founded, and that we believe set us apart from other schools in the kingdom.
We wish all of our students currently taking exams, every success; and as we move into our 50th year we are confident that they will continue to enhance our reputation as a school which strives for excellence in all its endeavours.
