At JPGS, the House System plays a vital role in encouraging pupil participation, fostering a strong sense of community, and supporting personal development. It provides a framework for healthy competition across a wide range of activities including sports, the arts, culture, and academics. Pupils are recognised for their achievements through House Points, trophies, and awards, celebrating excellence in all areas of school life.
Every pupil is assigned to one of three Houses, each guided by a dedicated team comprising a House Coordinator and House Master or Mistress. House Captains, selected from among the pupils, help promote high standards by encouraging hard work, strong attendance, and active engagement in House events.
Beyond competitions, the House System strengthens home–school relationships, supports pupils’ welfare, and encourages involvement in community initiatives. Through this structure, we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who demonstrate positivity, respect, and a strong sense of responsibility.
